Turkish and Russian athletes won medals in Kaş Half Marathon

The 4th Kaş Half Marathon was completed in Antalya's Kaş district

The 4th Kaş Half Marathon was completed in Antalya's Kaş district. Turkish and Russian athletes shared the medals in the marathon organized in three branches. 

The races in Kaş Half Marathon started with the start given by Mayor Mutlu Ulutaş from Kaş Cumhuriyet Square. Nearly 500 athletes from Turkey, USA, Russia, Canada, England, Ukraine, Norway, Kazakhstan and Ireland participated in the 21 km, 12 km and 6 km competitions. The athletes who started running with a start, toured Kaş Marina, Çukurbağ Peninsula and finished the race again in Kaş Cumhuriyet Square. Kaş Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Director Ali Evren and members of the organizing committee presented their medals and plaques to the top three runners-up in the competitions.

Turkish athlete İlayda İnce took first place in the women's 6-kilometre track, Russian athlete Liudmila Pshenichnicova took second place, and Russian athlete Svetlena Matienko won third place. Russian Mark Vysotin won first place in men in this category, Turkish athlete Alihan warrior took second place, and Turkish athlete Emre Korkmaz won third place.

 

Turkish athlete Mihraç Ayan won first place in the 12-kilometre track, Russian athlete Tatiana Romasheva took second place, and Turkish athlete Cevriye Akkurt took third place. Russian athlete Yuri Sdobnikov won first place in 12 kilometres of men, Russian athlete Semen Chechulin won second place, and Turkish athlete Umut Çavuşoğlu won third place.

 Turkish athlete Tülin Okyay took first place in the women's 21-kilometre half marathon, Russian athlete Anna Kolkova won second place, and Russian athlete Alexsandra Volkova won third place. Turkish athlete Suat Karoğlu took first place in the 21-kilometre half marathon in men, Russian athlete Alexsandr Gavrilov took second place, and Turkish athlete Ahmet Gökçek won third place.
