GastroAntalya brings together the professionals of the gastronomy world and young chefs. Organized by the Mediterranean Chefs Club Association (ASKDER), GastroAntalya brings together the representatives of the gastronomy industry from 24 countries with young chefs. Within the scope of the organization, 500 young chefs from 29 countries will exhibit their skills at Glass Pyramid for 4 days. 

“International Gastronomy and Culinary Stars Meeting 2022” (GastroAntalya), supported by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and sponsored by Kilit Group with its two big brands, is open with the opening ceremony. The event was held for the third time between 17-20 November 2022. It brings together gastronomy professionals from 24 countries and 500 young chefs from 29 countries. 

The opening ceremony of GastroAntalya was held with intense participation. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Cansel Tuncer, Muratpaşa Municipality Deputy Mayor Gülnur Karaaslan, TÜROFED President Sururi Çorabatır, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) Deputy President Murat Totoş, Anatolian Cooks Federation President Tamer Özkan attended the opening ceremony of Antalya and Turkey gastronomy sector. Professionals Meet with Young Chefs 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mediterranean Chefs Club (ASKDER) President Bilal Yüreğir stated that they are happy to bring professionals and young chefs together with GastroAntalya. They held for the third time this year, and said, “To Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Insect, Kilit Group Family, Diana Travel, Diversey. We would like to thank Unilever, Jelyap and all our other supporters.” 

Competitors from 29 Countries Participate 

Mediterranean Chefs Club (ASKDER) Overseas President Ömer Yalçın said that they brought together competitors from 29 countries and jury members from 24 countries in GastroAntalya. Yalçın: “We would like to thank everyone who supported the realization of this organization. I wish you good and delicious days." 

Theme: Sesame

 The event stars with the theme of "Sesame" this year. The event will make significant contributions to Antalya's goals of becoming a gastronomy destination with dozens of activities to be held over four days. 

Representatives of 24 Countries are in Antalya

 Gastronomy representatives from 24 countries of the world and all over Turkey, companies producing products & services in the gastronomy sector, leading companies and their managers, F&B department managers of the tourism industry, purchasing department managers, professional chefs, hotel general managers, gastronomy and culinary arts academics , world-famous chefs and gourmets, university and high school student chefs, associations, educational institutions, and employees of the sectors that make up the gastronomy ecosystem will participate in workshops, presentations, panels, city stands, service presentations, product tastings, and B2B meetings.

 They Will Show Their Talent

 More than 400 chefs and chef candidates will participate in the competition. This is the main concept of the organization. GastroAntalya will be the scene of Individual Practice Junior, Individual Practice Masters, Grand Prix National Team and Individual Display Masters competitions, which will allow chefs and chef candidates to showcase their skills.
