Preparations have started for the New Year's Festival which will be between 23-31 December. While many products special for the New Year will be exhibited at the festival, women's cooperatives and foreigners living in Antalya will also introduce their own cultures and welcome 2023 with enthusiasm.
Before the New Year's Festival to be held by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Department of Culture and Social Affairs, representatives of resident foreign associations living in Antalya met with Mustafa Gürbüz, Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, and Okan Yavuz, Head of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs. At the meeting, there was an exchange of ideas regarding the New Year's Eve festival.
They will share their culture with the people of Antalya
Mustafa Gürbüz, Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, said that the traditional New Year's Festival was highly appreciated by the people of Antalya, and said, “Our Antalya welcomes citizens from 72 nationalities. In a busy tourism season, it will be a nice event for both foreign guests and resident foreigners. While they share their own culture, music and traditions with the citizens of Antalya, our women's cooperatives will also have the opportunity to promote their products.”
The Only Festival You Can Have Fun While Shopping
The festival will be at the Cam Pyramid Fair and Congress Center between December 23 and December 31. It will include shows, concerts throughout the day, New Year's decorations, snowfall, giant snow globe, workshops, Christmas gifts, jewellery, wooden toys, Christmas decorations, new year local products market, food and beverage stands and mini amusement park will take place. Music from different countries, local tastes and shows will also meet with the people of Antalya.
