21,284 students from 92 countries receive education in private and public schools in Antalya. In addition to the children of families from countries such as Suriname, Nepal and Gambia, 3,899 Russian and 1000 Ukrainian students continue their education with Turkish students at school desks. 

With the development of Turkish tourism, Antalya hosts more than 10 million tourists a year. The city has become the city preferred by foreigners to live in time. In the city, where more than 20 thousand insured employees from 130 countries are, the number of resident foreigners allowed for residence approached 200 thousand. Children of families who settled in Antalya continue their education in the city. 21 thousand 284 of the 491 thousand 192 students studying in 1336 public and 417 private schools in Antalya are foreign nationals.

 The majority of foreign students continue their education in schools in Alanya, Muratpaşa, Konyaaltı and Kepez districts. The children of families who have settled in the city from 92 countries receive education together with Turkish students at school desks. In addition to the children of families from countries such as Suriname, Sudan, Nepal, Gabon and Gambia, students from different continents and nationalities such as the USA, Germany, England, Israel and Japan continue their education life in harmony in schools in the city.

 First Row of Russian Students 

The children of families who settled in the city from the two countries after the Russia-Ukraine war is on the school desks together in some schools. Russians are in first place with 3,899 students in the city. About 1000 Ukrainian students study in Turkish schools. In addition to Russian and Ukrainian children, students from countries such as Syria, Germany, Kazakhstan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Jordan and Uzbekistan continue their education in schools in the city. 

Mehmet Karabacak, Deputy Provincial Director of National Education, said, "There are 491 thousand students in 1753 schools in Antalya, the pearl of the Mediterranean. "The highest number of students from 92 different countries is Russia. Students from 92 countries such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan continue their education and training in harmony at our school," he said. (Tolga Yıldırım- DHA)
