There are various legends about the name of the rugged mountains, where mountain goats, deer and plants adapt to the challenging nature. It is said that most people who go to the mountains do not return. According to the most well-known stories, 15-20 people from the surrounding villages go hunting mountain goats in the winter season. When they take a break, they retire by making a fire. However, the bottom of the place where they stay is a cave, and when the fire ice melts, they fall into the cave. The dog, who goes with the hunting group, returns to the village and asks for help, howling bitterly. Suspicious, the villagers go to the mountain peaks in search of hunters. They find the collapsed place and the cave. They rescue a surviving hunter, but the rest of the group cannot be reached. Once again, deer shot by a group of villagers who went to the mountains to hunt on the road, fell into the sinkholes on the hill. The villagers go back to their homes by saying, "We'll get it tomorrow". When they go to the mountain the next day, they cannot find the deer in the sinkhole. Those who want to look inside and jump cannot go back because of the sharpness of the rocks like a knife. In the end, they are rescued by ropes hanging from above, but one member of the group dies in the sinkhole. It is stated that many such painful events took place in the mountains and have been transmitted from language to language and have survived to the present day.
