Eğrigöl is approximately 180 km from Antalya city center, and 45 km from Gündoğmuş district center is on the Söbüçimen Plateau at the foothills of the Geyik Mountains of the Taurus Mountains, on the border of Konya and Antalya.
Eğrigöl is famous for its untouched nature and panoramic views. It exhibits an entirely different beauty, especially in the winter. Nature lovers call it the "Alps of Antalya" because its view under the snow is likened to the Alps.
While the sea season continues on the coast, it is possible to see snow even in June and July in the lake, which offers skiing and snow pleasure to visitors during the same period.
The lake's surroundings, where different beauties are witnessed in every season, take on a completely different atmosphere thanks to the lush green meadows and colorful flowers that cover the area, especially since May as the snow melts.
Eğrigöl, surrounded by 3- to 4-meter-high snow masses on the mountains on one side, mountain tulips, crocuses, inverted tulips, hyacinths, and dozens of different plants on one side on the other, is the most vibrant lake in Turkey at an altitude of 2350 meters with a rich ecosystem.
In addition to carp, many fish species live in the lake where angling is practiced. Animals such as wild goats, sheep, brown bears, eagles and falcons can be found around the lake.
The region is flocked by everyone who wants to find peace in the lap of nature. It offers insatiable moments to those who want to climb with mountain bikes and nature walks in a unique visuality. The lake also hosts those who come for picnics and camping. For those who camp around the lake, enjoying the silence away from the noise and watching the sparkling sky in the pitch black at night is an unforgettable experience in their lives.
