There are cavities of various sizes on the surfaces of these walls. One of the largest reefs in the Canyon Reef, named after two steep rocks giving way like a canyon. The reef, whose shallowest point is 7 meters, is northeast of Picnic Island.
It is possible to come across creatures such as grouper, leer, kingfisher, trumpet fish, Mediterranean moray eel, trachunya, barracuda, squid, octopus and sea rabbit and albeit rare, Mediterranean monk seals during diving in the region. It is one of the rare diving spots that meet the diving criteria of the world.
