Maden Bay is one of the most beautiful bays of Kemer, with breathtaking views and fascinating nature. It is approximately 75 km from Antalya. The bay, 32 km from Kemer, can be reached by following the 10 km red pine forest road on the Mining Road in Tekirova.
It is also possible to go to the bay from Çıralı Beach by the historical Lycian Way path. Although it is a bit of a hassle to come to the bay, the wonderful environment encountered makes you feel more than worth it.
The bay, whose other name is Atbükü, is called Maden Bay because there was a mine where extracted chrome in previous years. It is possible to come across mine ruins and caves while walking around the bay.
The bay is covered with lush trees surrounding it. You can spend time on the fine pebble beach of about 430 meters; swimming in the clear and deep blue sea gives visitors a completely different experience. The bay, where boats and yachts anchor, gives peace with its incredibly untouched, quiet and calm atmosphere.
You can camp on the bay. It is also among the places frequented by camping enthusiasts who want to get away from the city's noise and be alone with nature away from the eyes. Apart from these, you can picnic, trek, and dive in the surrounding area.
Due to the rough and hilly forest roads, it is recommended to arrive at Maden Bay by 4 x 4 vehicles or reach a certain distance by car and then on foot.
