The second-longest cable car in the world and the longest cable car in Europe, Olympos Teleferik, is between Çamyuva and Tekirova, about 57 km from the center of Antalya.
The cable car, which starts the journey from the lower station at 726 meters above sea level and has cabins with a capacity of 80 people, reaches the summit of Tahtalı Mountain, which is at the center of Beydağları Beach National Park, after a breathtaking 10-minute journey.
It is possible to see cedar trees, steep slopes and valleys, mountain goats, raptor and songbird species, wild boars, wolves, chameleons and lizards while climbing Tahtalı Mountain, the highest mountain in Turkey near the sea.
Extraordinary scenery and clean mountain air await you when you reach the summit. Feeling eternity accompanied by magnificent panoramic views gives visitors an unforgettable experience. At the facilities on the peak, you can take a meal and coffee break, take lots of souvenir photos, and watch the environment from the binoculars on the viewing terraces.
Various events are organized to discover the beauties of the region better. Thousands of people flock to the summit of the mountain to witness the red-painted sky at dawn and the sun's soft rays at sunset. One stage of the Lycian Walking Path passes through the skirts of Tahtalı Mountain. Taking nature walks or cycling on the pleasant tracks of the region is another option. The property also has paragliding and bungee catapults for those who wish for an adventure with high adrenaline.
