EXPO Antalya Exhibition Area is in Aksu, one of the central districts of Antalya. It is 11 km from Antalya Airport, 24 km from Antalya Bus Station and 17 km from the city center.
The World Botanical EXPO, which is considered the most extensive organization after the Olympics and the World Cup, was held in Antalya for the first time in Turkey in the 160-year history of EXPO. More than 50 countries participated in the event, organized in 2016 with the philosophy of 'A Green World for Future Generations' and the theme of 'Flowers and Children'. EXPO 2016 hosted distinguished world stars such as Elton John, Maroon 5, Simply Red, Status Quo, Deep Purple, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin.
