Sandland (Antalya Sand Sculpture Museum) has been hosting visitors on an area of 10 thousand square meters on Antalya's world-famous Lara beach since 2006.
The museum, which has a fantastic atmosphere, is among the most prestigious significant sand sculpture events globally with giant sand sculptures, the amount of sand used, the width of the area, the number of participating artists.
Every year, with a different theme ranging from mythology to fairy tale heroes, from sea legends to world wonders, the extraordinary sculptures with a width and height of meters, created using approximately 10 thousand tons of river sand, astonish those who see them with their craftsmanship and designs. Sand sculptors, who carry out their works alone or in groups of 2-3, reveal their talents, creativity and imagination with these magnificent works.
In the museum, where special events are organized for all age groups, children can develop their creativity while exhibiting their skills by participating in the workshop using kinetic sands in the Magic Sand Castle designed for them. Those who wish can benefit from the ATV Safari and water sports facilities in the area. After finishing the museum tour, those curious about the secrets of this incredible creativity can take a pleasant break in the cafeteria in the area and watch the documentaries showing the construction stages of the sculptures on the LED screen.
The unique LED lighting system makes it possible to visit the world's first and only museum open every day of the year, even after dark.
